Susie
Nicholson, who has a Certificate in Education,
qualified as an RGN in 1987 and worked for many years as Senior
Staff Nurse and Night Sister/Team Leader in various nursing
environments including rehabilitation, medical and oncology
wards. She has utilised her Teaching and Training in Clinical
Practice Course (ENB 998, gained in 1992) in the supervision/development/assessing/
facilitation of both qualified and unqualified nursing staff,
and has been a trained Moving and Handling Trainer since 1994.
She has much experience in the Care industry, initially as
a nurse and then in managerial roles within care companies
and agencies. She started Chatsworth Training Services in
2001.
Steve
Clarke comes from a Personnel,
Training and Operations Management background, with a wealth
of experience in devising and delivering training across a
range of managerial and operational subjects.
Matthew
Plumridge has worked in the not-for-profit and
charitable sector for over 25 years. As well as training for
Chatsworth Training Services, he is also a facilitator for
a London based Health Charity in Sexual Health, Health Promotion
and personal development courses trying to reduce the spread
of HIV/AIDS. He has had a background in accountancy and IT
along with Retail, Wholesale, Manufacturing and the Travel
Industry.
Lesley
Graham has worked extensively with Adults with
Learning Disabilities as well as with the Elderly including
EMI and Dementia Units. Lesley has been an Assessor for Guildford
College on the Level 2 Care packages.
Anne
May, a previous Enrolled Nurse comes from a background
in teaching/training and is a qualified NVQ Assessor.
Graham
Cranmer first came into the
care sector in 1994 as a vounteer having been told he was
told he was to old and the wrong sex to be sucsseful. Graham's
background was in the sale of financial packages and as an
Industrial Chemist specialising in formulation of detergents.
Graham has also worked for himself as a propriator of a motor
repair business. He has managed care homes for learning disabled
adults in Basingstoke and Southampton before becoming a Registered
Manager of a residential home for adults with a learning disability
in Liss, near Petersfield, Hampshire and then the Registered
Manager of a Domicilairy Care Company in Southampton. Graham
graduated from DeMontfort University in Leicester in 2003
with a certificate in Managing Health and Social Care (with
distinction). Graham has recently worked as Head of Care at a nursing home in the New Forest and currently works for a local Hampshire company as Registered Manager in a home for learning disabaled young adults. He is experienced at delivering training at all levels. Graham joined Chatsworth Training in July 2008 as a freelance trainer.
Sue
Howland a nurse with over 30 years experience in
general nursing, education (a Registered Clinical Nurse Teacher
with the Further Education Teachers Certificate) and
clinical research.
Amanda
Clegg is a qualified massage and aromatherapist
who also happen to have years of corporate experiences as
an assistant project manager, recruitment consultant and board-level
PA. She works both as Miss Nicholsons PA and as a trainer
in the non-nursing areas such as First Aid, Health & Safety
and Stress Awareness.

Sue
Mattingley has worked in management training and
development for over 20 years in a variety of industries.
She works effectively with those in front line operations and up to & including board level. Her background is in the commercial sector and she has successfully transferred this experience to the care industry during recent years. Sue delivers many of the management & leadership programmes and enjoys tailoring courses to suit specific client requirements. She enjoys developing others and does so using the approach that learning should be fun - and her style of delivery reflects this
Linda
Moore a Registered Nurse for over 20 years experience
in both Adult and Paediatric Nursing, PGDE, Moving & Handling
trainer who works in Education and in a clinical environment.
Jill Bowman RGN, MSc, has over 30 years nursing experience and has been working in nursing education for the last 20. As well as training for us, Jill tutors part time for the RCN and Open University BSc Hons Nursing Studies. She holds a degree in Nursing Education (1996) and a Masters in Nursing (2004). In her spare time she is Chairman of Governors for a local school and managed the Guildford U14 Ice Hockey team for a year (luckily not having to use her nursing skills in this role!).
Val Coomber has over 20 years experience working with children and adults with learning difficulties and challenging behaviour, both as a Care Home Manager and organising residential care and fostering placements. As well as managing a Care Home for adults with autism, she has provided care in the community both as a worker and a manager. Training has always been a part of her managerial role, and she is accredited as a trainer by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health. She has been training for CTS on a part time basis since early 2009. Val’s warmth and humanity, and her sound subject knowledge and pragmatic approach make her a valuable member of the Chatsworth team.
